Childbirth Education Classes |

We know all these ladies and have even delivered some of their babies. Each offers unique insight into birth and can help you achieve the birth you desire. They are all in different parts of the Greenville-Spartanburg area. We think you would be well served by all of them. Instinctive Birthing– Greenville Susan Breisch, BS, CPD, is a mother of five “normal childbirth” children. She was certified as a postpartum doula in 2003. She has since completed training to be a labor doula and offers both labor and postpartum doula services in the Greenville, SC area.
Susan also offers a normal childbirth series, “Instinctive Birthing”. This is a comprehensive course on pregnancy, labor, birth and newborn care. It is a series of classes that will teach you how to work with your body, preparing you physically, emotionally and spiritually. Additionally, in an effort to meet the needs of every individual, whether giving birth in the hospital or at home, this course has been designed to give you the information that you need to have the birth that you desire.
Mary Kury, AAHCC, provisional, is the mother of one who gave birth naturally after taking a Bradley class. She was so impressed with the method and education she received that she wanted to make it available to other women in the upstate. Mary offers a Bradley class at the Labors of Love Birth Center. The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It has 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
